Do I have to purchase my food tour tickets in advance?

Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance in order for us to guarantee you a spot on our food tours. Our food tours typically sell out quickly.  So to increase your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, we highly suggest that you book well in advance.

Can I pay cash?

At this moment, tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Cash is not accepted.

If a food tour is sold out, will I be able to get on a waiting list?

We currently do not have a wait list. However, you are more than welcome to contact us at info@foodyfieldtrips.com and 818.863.6639 leading up to your desired tour date to see if there are any cancellations.

If I have to cancel my food tour, can I get a refund?

Being that we make arrangements and reserve your spot on our Foody Field Trip food tour with the various tasting locations in advance, unfortunately, we will not be able to issue refunds.

What is your rescheduling policy?

Because we compensate our restaurant partners in advance, we are unable to reschedule reservations.

If I am running late, can I still attend the food tour?

Registration is closed fifteen minutes after the tour start time. If you are running late, please contact your food tour guide whose number can be found in your confirmation email or customer service at 818.863.6639. We will try our best to accommodate your party. However, in consideration for our other guests attending the tour, we cannot guarantee accommodations for late guests after the first thirty minutes of the food tour so as to not disrupt the food tour experience for guests in attendance.

What happens if it rains?

We believe in the notion that the food tour must go on! Tours will be held rain or shine unless extreme acts of nature prevent us from doing so.  Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the day’s weather conditions so be sure to bring an umbrella if necessary.

Can I do a private group food tour?

Yes, you most definitely can! Our private food tours are the perfect way to celebrate any special occasion such as birthdays, fundraisers, bridal showers and company team building events.  So if you’re ever interested in booking a private event, please fill out this form here or contact us at info@foodyfieldtrips.com and we’ll be more than happy to make it a special occasion for you.

If I am bringing an infant or a very young child, do I need to purchase a food tour ticket for them?

Children under the age of 3 are free. Also, for your safety and convenience, we highly encourage that you make the necessary arrangements that will enable you and your child to comfortably keep up with the rest of the group.

May I bring my dog on the food tour?

Although we would love for your beloved pets to join us in this experience, due to the various regulations at each tasting locations we visit, animals of any kind are not allowed on our food tours. However, service dogs are permitted to accompany its owner at all times.

What types of foods are served on the food tours?

We’ll eat our way through Los Angeles by sampling signature, mouth watering dishes from independent local culinary favorites, that serve cuisines from all around the world; ranging anywhere from Korea to Argentina to Peru to Italy. What if I have dietary restrictions?

We are definitely able to provide alternative food items for guests with dietary restrictions (i.e. vegetarian, nut/dairy/egg/seafood allergies, non-alcohol requests, etc.) on our food tours.  Please let us know when you purchase your food tour ticket.  As long as we are notified in advance, we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.

How much food is served on the food tours?

Our tours include 5-6 tasting locations, where we will sample various dishes along the way. For most people, it is more than enough to fill them up for a meal.

Do the tours have anything to offer a native Angeleno?

Totally!  Many of our guests are locals from Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.  We introduce food lovers to the amazing food gems that make our local neighborhoods unique, rich, authentic and culturally diverse; the hidden food gems that make Los Angeles our home.

Will I have time to shop during the food tour?

Yes, if you enjoy what you’re tasting or see something that you might like, we highly encourage you to purchase some as gifts for friends and family or simply as a treat for yourself for later.  Feel good that you’re supporting local independent businesses!

Are there restroom breaks during the food tour?

Yes, restrooms will be available for your convenience at each tasting location. Please take your time as we will not leave without you.

Can I take pictures?

Absolutely! A Foody Field Trips food tour is an experience that you will want to remember. So by all means, document the fun so you can share it with your friends and family!

Are food tours offered only in English?

Yes, food tours are only offered in English at this time. However, if you would like to make arrangements for your own interpreter to join the tour, please contact us at info@foodyfieldtrips.com.

How far will we be walking on the food tours?

During the approximately 3 hour tour, we will be walking roughly 2 miles with opportunities to sit down at almost every tasting location.

Are the food tours accessible by baby stroller and wheelchair?

Yes, our tasting locations are generally wheelchair accessible and baby stroller friendly.  We will do our best to accommodate special needs.

Should I give the food tour guide a tip?

If you had fun and enjoyed your time on the tour and would like to acknowledge your food tour guide for doing a great job, gratuities are always greatly appreciated. However, gratuities for the individual food establishments on the tour are already included in your food tour ticket purchase.

Are food tour gift certificates available for purchase?

Yes, Foody Field Trips does offer food tour gift certificates. They are a great present for friends and loved ones. You can purchase them here.

Is there parking nearby the food tour meeting point?

Yes.  We suggest guests park at the following locations for each food tour respectively:

Historic Old Pasadena Food Tour:
90 minutes of free parking, $2 for each hour thereafter, $6 maximum per day. 
The De Lacey Parking Structure: located at 45 S. De Lacey Ave. (1/2 block south of Colorado and De Lacey)
The Schoolhouse Parking Structure: is located at 33 E. Green St. (corner of Green and Raymond).

Downtown Culver City Food Tour:
The majority of public parking structures in Downtown Culver City offer two hours of free parking ($1 each additional hour thereafter).
The Cardiff Parking Structure: located at 3846 Cardiff Ave. (btwn. Culver and Venice). 
Other public parking structures are located on Watseka Ave. and Ince Blvd. 
Metered street parking is also available.
